Latin percussionist Eli "Lito" Mateo a.k.a. "The Sauce" has been playing percussion since the age of eight. Lito has toured and recorded with Latin, pop, R&B, blues, soul, jazz, and hip hop artists. Passion and creativity flows out of Lito adding class and rhythmic sophistication to any solid groove.

Passion sparked at the age of eight when I received my first set of timbales as a gift from my dad and uncle. From that point on I embraced my passion and embarked on the road to discover where I could learn any and everything about percussion and share my passion on stage. Mentorships, choirs, musicals, and after school programs all helped mold me into the musician I am today.
